FAQs

How do I know if my panel needs to be replaced?

If your breakers trip often, lights flicker, the panel feels warm, or you still have an older fuse box or 100-amp panel, it’s likely time for an upgrade. A new panel ensures safety and provides sufficient capacity for modern appliances and EV chargers.

How long does a panel replacement take?

Most panel upgrades can be completed in one day. In some cases, additional utility coordination or inspections may extend the timeline to two days.

Will my power be out during the upgrade?

Yes, the power will be shut off for several hours while we safely remove and replace your panel. We’ll give you advance notice so you can plan around it.

Do I need a permit for a panel replacement?

Yes. Electrical panel replacements always require a permit and inspection. We handle all permitting and scheduling with the city and utility company for you.

What does the base price include?

It includes removal of your old panel, installation of a modern 200-amp panel with new breakers, permit handling, and final inspection. Additional costs may apply if your home requires upgrades like relocating the panel.

Can I add more circuits later on?

Absolutely. Your new panel will have extra capacity, so if you add an EV charger, air conditioning, or new appliances down the road, we can easily install dedicated circuits for them.
